To enact change, both in the world and in our own selves, we need to realise and use the power we have. While it may not seem like much, used wisely, it’s actually more than we need.
Will power and consumer power, with these two we can indeed change both our own lives and the world we live in.
We are all responsible – the ultimate challenge.
As much as we would like to place the blame exclusively on the rich and powerful magnates who own most of the planet and care exclusively about the bottom line: profit for the shareholders, at the expense of anything and anyone, these companies would not exist were we not supporting them.
Impossible is just an opinion

We hid behind a flimsy / gauzy curtain of powerlessness: what can little me do? I am only one person.
It turns out that every one person together we could flip the system upside down and not in five- or ten-years’ time, as the leading companies promise us it will take them to phase out plastic straws or single-use plastic, but within weeks, days even.
What these companies bank on is our complacency and concealed – read socially acceptable – behavioural addictions (write link text). We are willing to do anything for the environment except actually take an honest look at our own impact.
Many of us are onboard with relatively useless challenges the likes of the ice-bucket challenge but could not bear the thought of giving up our favourite TV show
