Culture, as opposed to nature, includes everything that human beings create rather than emerging naturally from the earth. Language, in any form, makes it possible to transmit culture from one person to the other (synchronic) and throughout time, between eras and generations. Culture includes books, film, music, art, and every artifact created by human beings.
