Any dish has its veg counterpart and can taste just as delicious as your favorite. Regardless of your dietary preferences, being open-minded to plant-based ingredients is good both for you and the planet, as well as, of course, the animals.
Whoever says that plant-based food has no taste has obviously not tried it giving it a fair chance. For more on how to try a plant-based diet, check out “How to try vegan food”
Here are some replacements to transform meat dishes into vegan ones:

- canned coconut milk (as long as the ingredients contain only coconut and water)
- Rice, soy, almond, cashew, or any nut-based cream
- Milk
- Store-bought plant-based milk (for more on how to choose plant-based milk, read…)
- Homemade almond milk is the tastiest and is actually very easy to make.
