You can be happy with your life and all, yet nonetheless want to do better: become a better version of you, make a positive contribution to the planet, leave the world a better place than you found it. As Gandhi (was it?) puts it, “If you can’t help someone/thing, at least don’t harm it”. Viewed one step at a time, even a lofty goal becomes manageable.
The first step towards this is to become aware: of our power as consumers and as the vast majority of people we are. While we cannot change the status quo overnight, we can most definitely begin to take charge of our own realties.
To become aware, take one day to catalog what you do with your days. From the minute you wake up to the one before you go to sleep. This simple exercise allows you to realise I’ll go first: 30 minutes cat feeding / cuddling and my vitamins, 15 minutes bathroom, 1.5 hours writing, 2 hours errands,
We can do better, much better. If you think that another way exists, that we should be able to enjoy our lives and be free, that
Changing our lives and making a change for the better is actually much simpler than we imagine.

Too much, not too little
The problem with our contemporary western world is that we have too much while being convinced, by ourselves or others, that we don’t have enough or that we have too little. We fear not getting enough food while most of us are always on surplus.

The point here is.
